Werks was written during the spiritual desert of the tr*mp era. It is comprised of a mix of songs recorded on tour, by himself during an artist residency at The Sou’Wester, and live for a small studio audience at The Soul Shop, in Medford, MA. The music is lyric-centric freak folk, or psychedelic alt-country, or poetic bedroom pop. It is dedicated to the people who love him.
